The task of designing the original Tuned 1 was given to Sean McDowell.

He had just returned from vacation and the fading-blue and yellow colour scheme was inspired by a Florida sunset.

And the "fingers" on the sides? Mc Dowell saw those as palm trees, silhouetted against the sky.

The Tuned Air technology made it's first public appearance in 1998 with the Nike Air Max Plus.

DIE hatte ich schon länger im Auge aber heute habe ich die zum 1. Mal bei jmd. am Fuß gesehen.
Schon war's um mich geschehen.

Gerade eben bei Footlocker online bestellt. :D
